Self Care for the Bereavement Professional - Presenter, Howard Mammon, THMP
Bereavement sector professionals have faced many challenges personally and professionally over the past year. We have been responsible for adapting to an ever-changing health and regulatory environment due to COVID-19 while doing our best to provide caring and compassionate service to the families whom we serve. All this while juggling our own personal lives in the process.
Howard Mammon is the Executive Director of Toronto Hebrew Memorial Parks which operates two large and active cemeteries in Vaughan, Ontario. He has just completed two terms as a Director on the OACFP Board and is currently a member of the BAO’s Faith-Based Advisory Committee and Secretary of the Jewish Cemetery Association of North America. Howard will share some of his experiences and the tools which he used and discovered that helped him cope during the pandemic.
