As bereavement professionals, we know grief is messy, complicated and unpredictable, but over time we become desensitized to the pain of grief and loss and can get tired of dealing with grieving people. Finding and maintaining a healthy balance between being professional yet compassionate and caring, gets tricky.
Through story, Pam will remind us;
~ how the ‘symptoms’ of grief can look in one's life
~ of the developmental stages of grieving in children & teens
~ that who we are, is as important, as what we do in our profession
~ of the resiliency of the human spirit…there can be life after loss
Pam Moss is no stranger to the funeral profession in Canada. As a Celebrant, Part-Time Instructor in the Funeral Services Program at Humber College and a Speaker at funeral conventions and events across the Country, her passion, fuelled by her own grief journey, can be both felt and heard.
Pam with her husband Trevor, and eleven-year-old daughter Lauren recently moved to Kelowna, BC, after spending 18 years in the Greater Toronto Area. www.pammoss.ca
