The Messiness of Grief

As bereavement professionals, we know grief is messy, complicated and unpredictable, but over time we become desensitized to the pain of grief and loss and can get tired of dealing with grieving people. Finding and maintaining a healthy balance between being professional yet compassionate and caring, gets tricky.

 Through story, Pam will remind us;

~ how the ‘symptoms’ of grief can look in one's life

~ of the developmental stages of grieving in children & teens

~ that who we are, is as important, as what we do in our profession

~ of the resiliency of the human spirit…there can be life after loss
