      Melanie has worked in the funeral industry for the past decade.  She has served both in business to consumer and business to business roles. Melanie chose to explore this subject while working on her Ph.D. in Psychology because she witnessed first-hand funeral directors burning out and wanted to learn how to prevent this phenomenon.

      Melanie currently works for Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company which is based out of Abilene, Texas. She serves as a Director of Sales Development in North Texas. Melanie resides in Crowley, Texas.

      Melanie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, a Master's Degree in Human Services, and a Ph.D. in Psychology. Melanie regularly speaks to various groups on topics related to the funeral industry.
