Overview

Since 2016 Ontarians have been increasingly choosing to schedule their own deaths through the Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program.   As Bereavement Sector professionals, we must be ready to answer questions, understand how this affects our operations, and respond with accurate and current information.  Join us in conversation with Dr. Sandy Buchman from the Ontario Medical Association who will give us an overview of (MAiD) focusing in on what it is and what it is NOT.  Learn about the evolution of this end-of-life option since legalized in Canada, the current process and procedures for eligibility and the changes that are anticipated for the future.  A must attend event for those who are serving families in advance of need.

This webinar will help members better understand the MAiD program and the current process and procedures for eligibility.
